For
those of you traveling to the 2012Crossroads Classic race
venues, please be aware there are several major road projects
that delay traffic on a regular basis in the Piedmont of North
Carolina. You can visit
www.ncdot.org
for all road construction projects and updated traffic info.
I-77 - Road construction in Mooresville from Langtree Rd (exit
#31) north to Hwy 150 (exit #36).
I-85 - Road construction from Speedway Blvd/Concord Mills
Parkway (exit #49) north to Hwy 29 (exit #58) in Concord.
Hwy 29 north into Concord is a good option to avoid construction
traffic. |
I-85 - Road construction from
Hargrave Rd (exit #88) south to Long Ferry Rd (exit #81), just
north of Salisbury. This road construction project begins
at the interchange of I-85 and Business 85/Hwy 52.
Leave a little extra early and prepare for delays during peak
travel times. We all know how frustrating it can be sitting in
traffic, trying to make it to a race. Please be safe
traveling!! |
