The 2008 Crossroads Classic will kick-off
Friday evening July 25 in the
Town of Taylorsville, NC.
Taylorsville is nestled in the foothills
of
the Brushy Mountains in beautiful Western North Carolina and is the county
seat of Alexander County.
The Town is extremely excited to host the eighth annual nine-day cycling
event. The course will be super tough as the the entire finish
stretch will be a slight uphill grade, a great finish for the power
sprinters. This is the first ever cycling event in Downtown
Taylorsville. Cyclists from the local community are planning events
for the whole family in Downtown Taylorsville.

Taylorsville:
Take
I-40 to exit #132, HWY 16. Travel north on HWY 16 approximately 15 miles
into Downtown Taylorsville.

Course:
Exciting .5 mile four corner course around downtown Taylorsville. The
finish stretch has a slight grade to the finish line. Night
races will be supplemented with much additional lighting.

Parking
Do not park in unauthorized parking lots. Downtown Taylorsville will
be tight with the event. Please use the map below and park only in
the designated lots.
